PRODUCER, COMPOSER & VISIONARY
Vlado Železňák Jr. is a creative force bridging the worlds of high-end audio and cinematic storytelling. As the Founder and Director of the FMC – Film Music Contest & Festival, he actively collaborates with industry titans from Hollywood, Netflix, and major Asian studios. His international jury network spans over 40 countries, including experts from the US, EU, and Asia, making him a central figure in the global film music community.
A Lifetime in the Studio Growing up in a professional audiovisual environment, Vlado’s journey began at the age of five. With over 12 years of formal music education in piano and composition, he has evolved into a multi-disciplinary creator. As a Master of Mass Media and a member of the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ), his insights on film and music have been published globally in prestigious industry media.
From Sound to Screen Today, Vlado operates out of the GONG Recording Studios, where he composes original modern soundtracks and leads innovative audiovisual projects. His transition to film is a natural evolution of decades spent behind the camera and in the mixing suite.
Currently, he is spearheading the international festival tour for his animated debut „Angel & Meow“ (2026) and the short documentary „Man from the Mountain“ (2026). In addition to his current releases, he is already in development for his first animated feature film and an upcoming comic book series.

EARLY CAREER & TELEVISION ROOTS
Vlado’s deep technical foundation was built through a prolific early career in national television. As the youngest TV host in Slovakia, he fronted the legendary music show „Hviezdička“ for 12 years and the educational series „Hviezdičkársky kalendár“ for 3 years. This intensive period provided him with an unparalleled foundation in television production, involving the creation of over 500 music videos and live broadcasts.
This lifelong immersion in professional production—collaborating with top directors and dramaturgs—forms the pillar of his current work, blending traditional craftsmanship with next-gen cinematic technology.
